Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash with SUV, cops say

BURLINGTON TWP -- A motorcyclist is in critical condition after he collided with an SUV and was thrown from the bike Thursday night.

The crash took place around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Sunset Road and Bloomer Drive, according to Burlington Township Police.

The motorcyclist, 23-year-old Stephen Brinson of Willingboro, struck a Toyota RAV4 SUV as it turned onto Sunset Road, police said. Brinson was thrown from the motorcycle, police said.

He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, and remained in critical condition Friday morning, police said.

The SUV's driver remained at the scene of the crash and is cooperating with police. No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation.
