Chief architect at Cisco System sees great potential in Sarawak digital economy

KUCHING: Sarawak-born engineer, Jeffrey Lo who is a chief architect at Cisco System Inc in the US says he sees great potential in Sarawak’s digital economy initiatives.

“What the Sarawak government is doing by embarking on digital economy will benefit the state economy and its people,” said Jeffrey, who was invited as a speaker at the 12th World Islam Economic Forum (WIEF) held at the Borneo Convention Centre in Kuching (BCCK) yesterday.

Jeffrey, 44, who once helped his parents at their grocery shop here, said Sarawak has so much potential in the supply chain and by embarking on digital economy, it would be able to expand its products and services market globally.

“I am glad to see Sarawak embarking on a digital era and there is ample room for collaboration at international levels,” he said.

He said he hoped to see the next generation of Sarawakians becoming masters of technology. — Bernama
