ASTAD, leading provider of fully integrated project and asset management services, yesterday announced to have strengthened their collaborative efforts with Korea-based architecture firm HAEAHN, to fulfil the complex design requirements of projects in Qatar and other countries.

ASTAD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HAEAHN Architecture to identify mutual business opportunities that encourages further collaboration between Qatari and Korean engineers in the fields of design and project management.

Their works in Qatar this year include Qatar Rail’s Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Project which was designed with the collaborative efforts of Qatari and Korean Engineers. The design work also includes two TOD Project locations; Hamad Hospital and Rayyan Al Qadeem.

Ali Al Khalifa, ASTAD Chief Executive Officer, said: “This (MoU) allows us to collaboratively deliver expert design and project management services not just in Qatar, but internationally. ASTAD and HAEAHN are specialists in our respective fields and markets and this MoU will support the continued growth and success of both of our companies.”

During the visit, several meetings and site visits were held, where the team visited the Incheon port to see the best solutions in food security in addition to visiting the Central Market in Seoul which is considered one of the most modern markets in Asia.
