Belize City man charged with raping a child

By Aaron Humes: The Belize City police have successfully apprehended a Honduran national who is believed to have raped a minor female in the year 2019.

According to the official report, on Thursday, April 11, a minor female, accompanied by a social worker, visited the CIB Precinct Three Police Station and reported that she was sexually assaulted by a man named Wilson Flores without her consent. The incident allegedly occurred between September and December 2019.

After recording the statement, the police conducted a medical examination of the victim, which confirmed that the minor female had been subjected to sexual intercourse. In light of this evidence, the police have charged Wilson Flores with the rape of a child.
