Sonakshi had first opened up about buying this house in an Instagram post in May 2023. A few months later, Sonakshi gave a tour of the house in a video shared by Architectural Digest India. It was previously reported by Hindustan Times that Sonakshi bought this apartment in March 2020. In September 2023, she bought another apartment in the same building for Rs 11 crore.

In the video tour of the apartment, Sonakshi had presented it as her ‘home away from home’, as at the time, she was living with her parents – Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. She also shared during one of her recent promotional interviews that she was still living with her parents but was using this house for her work meetings.

In June this year, Sonakshi tied the knot with Zaheer in the same apartment. In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sonakshi said, “I didn’t want to take any stress so my house was an open house. Everybody was coming and going while I was getting my hair and makeup done. Friends are chilling in the wardrobe, decor is going on, the food is being set up. So it was literally like an open house and that’s how I wanted my D-Day to be like. It felt so homely and beautiful. It was perfect.”

Just a week ago, Sonakshi had shared photos of Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha at the same house.
