New Delhi: It is no secret that Sonam Kapoor married into a rich family. Her husband, Anand Ahuja is an entrepreneur from a well-off family dealing in apparel manufacturing. Sonam’s father-in-law, Harish Ahuja has showered the couple with a lavish eight-storey property in London’s posh area in Notting Hill. The price of this real estate purchase is jaw-dropping.

As per a Bloomberg report, Harish Ahuja made one of the biggest UK residential deals in 2024. The businessman bought an eight-storey residential convent in July 2024 for Rs 231 crore or 21 million pounds.

It is said that Anand and Sonam will likely move into the lavish real estate after its redevelopment. The reports also suggest that a separate chunk of the property will likely be converted into flats. The Ahuja’s Notting Hill property in London offers over 20,000 sq ft of space. The spacious house is reportedly a short walk from Kensington Gardens and was previously owned by a UK-based charity and religious community.

In addition to this property, Sonam Kapoor also owns another home in Notting Hill. In 2021, the actress spoke about her art-filled beautiful London home to the Architectural Digest India. She expressed her desire to take the reigns of design to make it a space for her family to grow and learn together.
