World Cup Qualifiers: Liechtenstein 0-8 Spain
To football and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Europe where Spain have demolished Liechtenstein 8-nil in Group G.
Spain entered the match on the back of an impressive 3-nil win over Italy just a few days ago. Sergio Ramos opened the scoring for his side in the 3rd minute.
Alvaro Morata netted the ball in the 15th minute. Only one minute later Real Madrid midfielder Isco scored the third. David Silva made it 4-nil before half-time with a free-kick that went into the top corner.
Iago Aspas scored the 5th from close range in the 51st minute before Morata scored the 6th, three minutes later. Aspas then scored his second of the night in the 63rd minute.
And, with just a few seconds remaining, Gerard Deulofeu netted the 8th when his cross was turned past the keeper by the hosts’ Maximilian Goppel who completed the rout with an own goal.
