Haiti - FLASH : Two other survivors of the sinking found

Monday, the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) informed us that in the context of the sinking off the Turtle Island (northwest) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22413-haiti-flash-more-than-40-haitians-missing-in-a-shipwreck.html "2 other passengers were rescued bringing the number of survivors to 9. 7 are currently being treated on Turtle Island," specifying that hospitalized survivors suffer from "severe dehydration and muscular fatigue".
Research is continuing in coordination with the Coast Guard.
According to the survivors, the boat from Turtle Island, which had about fifty Haitian migrants on board, was attempting to illegally join the Providenciales Islands located in the Turks and Caicos archipelago, 200 km to the north .
