Residents of Bishkek to see ballet in 3D

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2017. /Kabar/. On the eve of the new year, Bishkek residents will be pleased with the unusual 3D ballet “Щелкунчик” (The Nutcracker), the Public Fund "ProArt" reported on its Facebook page.

The event will be held at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet Maldibaeva from December 8 to January 14, 2018.

The production is done by choreographer, laureate of international competitions Maksat Sydykov.

More than 60 dancers take part in the New Year 3D ballet. Kyrgyz designers and architects worked on ballet dancers’ dresses and decorations. Famous London graphic designer Sang Gun Kim was invited for creation of 3D mapping and for a light show in 3D measurement. Music from the ballet "The Nutcracker" will be performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Opera and Ballet Theater A.Maldybaeva under the direction of maestro Polotov.
