- Canadians prefer to go to Northern Ireland while the Chinese love Liverpool
The UK welcomes over 30million foreign tourists each year from all corners of the globe.
But they don't all home in on the same areas.
New research, which looked at bookings over the past five years, reveals that many nationalities are drawn to certain parts of the country, with the French loving Yorkshire and Americans obsessing over Scotland.

The French seem to like exploring Yorkshire on bikes and Americans appear to love Scotland's whiskey tours, exploring Edinburgh and Glasgow, fly fishing and playing golf, according to the research. It was released by tour company AC Group, which looked at the type of attractions visited within each destination.
For Australians, the best bit of the UK is the east of England, with the cities of Cambridge and Norwich proving popular for them.
And for Germans, known for having a passion for history, architecture and culture, the sights of London, such as Buckingham Palace and the Tate Modern, are their favourite.

The South East of England is most popular with those from Iceland, perhaps because the pebble beach of Brighton provides a coastal scene very different to their black volcanic beaches back home.
While the South West of England, with attractions such as the Roman Baths in Bath and Stonehenge, appeals most to Italians.
Those making the long journey to the UK from Japan adore the West Midlands, with Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick Castle being favourite places to put on itineraries.
Indian tourists love to explore the East Midlands, with Leicester's 'Golden Mile' - a sort of British Indian bazaar - one popular spot there, the study shows.
The Chinese, meanwhile, love the North West, with Beatles attractions in Liverpool and the city's football stadiums, along with those in Manchester, proving to be hits.
Spanish tourists, it turns out, are drawn to the North East. Apparently its shopping centres are popular with them, along with traditional pubs and the 'Angel of the North' statue, which is an Instagram hot spot.
And finally, for Canadians, it's Northern Ireland that's the most enticing. They appear to enjoy the Belfast nightlife, the Titanic museum and marvelling at the Giant's Causeway.
