Vero Beach, Florida is one of Coastal Living Magazine's Happiest Seaside Towns, and community involvement is a large part of that happy lifestyle.

VERO BEACH, FL, USA, June 12, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Since 2011, the South Florida PGA Foundation’s Board of Directors has supported Habitat for Humanity’s work helping families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. The PGA Foundation does this by partnering with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in every county of the South Florida PGA Section. This encompasses 15 counties plus Puerto Rico. The PGA’s commitment comes with a financial gift of $50,000 per home, along with volunteers to help build the homes. 2018 will see Holly Gorman, Realtor® with Sea Turtle Real Estate and her husband Pat Gorman, Head Golf Professional at Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida volunteering for Habitat for Humanity’s project in Indian River County. The PGA’s volunteers will work alongside the future homeowner, a single mother and her four children in the Vero Beach community of Waterside. Not only will the home provide a residence, but more importantly, it will provide the foundation on which the family can build a better life.

Vero Beach residents for more than 30 years, Holly and Pat believe deeply in Habitat for Humanity's mission to build strong communities. They are enthusiastic supporters of the local arts community and local youth sports organizations like the Vero Beach High School Lacrosse and Basketball Teams. The Gormans have raised three children in Vero Beach and love the happy coastal atmosphere the area offers.
