Japan is a country known for its superior craftsmanship and sound aesthetics. The Japanese people are revered all over the world for their acute attention to detail and commitment to performance.

From cakes to cars, products associated with the Japanese are often considered to be well-made and exclusive in nature. Many aspire to get their hands on anything made, molded or conjured up in the Land of the Rising Sun.

It is a privilege to encounter the works of the Japanese, but to live in one would be the ultimate experience for the J-culture fans. While Japan remains a distant land in the north, we will soon be able to feel the Japanese spirit in one of the latest projects to be built in the Ortigas area.

A Japanese wonder in the heart of Manila

A joint project of Federal Land and Tange Associates, the Grand Midori Ortigas is poised to change the skyline of Metro Manila in 2024. Guided by one of Japan’s renowned architectural designers, the structure expresses concepts of Japanese culture.

It is guided by the “miyabi” principle, or the incorporation of elegance in design. Its entrance driveway features a weave pattern that brings to mind the traditional textiles of Japan.

The pattern continues in the main lobby and is complemented by stone floor tiles and shoji- inspired enclosures. The reception area simulates a Zen garden, complete with a simulated rock formation counter and interior landscape elements.

The Grand Midori further incorporates the concept of “wabi-sabi” in its interior and outdoor areas. The children’s play room features grass flooring, leaf-shaped dropped ceiling and a garden-inspired playground.

The roof deck amenities are complemented by Zen-inspired garden elements in the Grand Midori Ortigas.

Zen aesthetics continue to the outdoors, with bamboo plants, pebble-wash pavements and pruned bushes. The natural landscaping is complemented by several pools, offering a relaxing break from the stresses of city living.

Luxurious amenities and top-notch services

The Grand Midori doesn’t skimp on its exclusive perks for its residents. It offers a well-designed lounge area for the use of unit owners. The project also provides a fitness area, yoga room, game room, tutoring room and children’s playroom.

In addition, there will also be a conference room and a multi-purpose room that can rented by residents for their private functions.

Apart from the indoor amenities, the building will also feature a lap pool, jacuzzi, kiddie pool, and a pool lounge, where the residents can easily relax and recharge. Complemented by a children’s play area and an open lawn, you would be able to enjoy the outdoors amid an urban environment.

The main lobby of the Grand Midori Ortigas takes off after the traditional Japanese rock garden.

Lastly, the building facilities ensure an effective maintenance system within the community. The building will feature a CCTV system, a sewage treatment plant, a mail room, and a garbage holding room per floor among other services. The project will further incorporate rain water harvesting to maximize water resources in the area.

Quality living at an affordable price

Despite its high-end aesthetics and luxurious designs, the Grand Midori Ortigas targets mid-market consumers. The project offers a variety of residential unit sizes: studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom homes.

It stands on a 5,090-sqm land situated along Exchange Road near Ortigas Center. The location is strategic yet isolated. It puts a distance between the tower and the city’s most active areas without sacrificing convenience and accessibility.

With a target turn over date of 2024, there is plenty of time for you to save up and invest in a dream home inside the Grand Midori Ortigas. Federal Land offers flexible payment terms and affordable rates for its prospective buyers. It’s indeed a setup that is both possible and ideal for big dreamers with a mid-market budget.

And so if you have Japanese tastes but Filipino dreams, the Grand Midori Ortigas might just be the home for you.
