Boy George, the Karma Chameleon singer, has lived in this massive mansion for the past 40 years in Hampstead, North London. He has decided to reportedly sell it for a whopping sum, as revealed by a real estate agency called Aston Chase.

Boy George's £17 million Gothic home, built in the Victorian era around 1868, is up for grabs, and what's more, the mansion is a Grade II listed Gothic mansion that overlooks Hampstead Heath.
Boy George moved into this large mansion in his twenties, a heritage building owner for a young lad. Still, he did make some design changes, which got him into a spot with Camden Municipality regarding planning issues.

This mansion has five bathrooms, one having the sky as the ceiling, a meditation room, a mezzanine cinema room; and a terrace. The house is spread over 5,453 square feet.

The house has a mix of Italian and Gothic architecture and has a beautiful high tower and large bay windows. There is a large hall in the center of the house, and all the rooms can be reached from here. The walls are filled with artefacts of various types and sculptures, and some are famous personalities, like Kate Moss and April Ashley, the transgender model.

Most of the refurbishment has been done by Kelly Hoppen, the famous designer who allowed a lot of light into the mansion, replacing its earlier dark atmosphere. The addition was made in a kitchen/breakfast room with wall-to-ceiling windows bringing in a lot of light, and you have the marvelous garden spreading out in front.
