The Arab Golf Federation will host the 41st Pan Arab Men Golf Championship in Tabarka, Tunisia from Dec.1-5.

Representing the UAE and the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) are Hassan Al Musharrekh, Rashid Al Emadi, Rashed Al Jassmy, and Mohammed Skaik.

Organised by the Tunisian Golf Federation, under the leadership of the Arab Golf Federation. The competitions will take place at Golf la Cigale in Tabarka.

48 golfers representing 13 Arab countries will take part in this 41st edition, namely, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Palestine, and the host country Tunisia.

This is the fourth time that Tunisia has hosted these championships since the creation of the Tunisian Golf Federation in 1992.

After Citrus Hammamet in 2010, El Kantaoui Hammam Sousse in 2015, and The Residence Gammarth in 2018, it will therefore be the turn of la Cigale Tabarka to welcome the best Arab golfers in an edition that promises to be both promising and unprecedented.

The championship is run over four rounds, the best three scores in a team of four are counted toward each round. Individual scores of players from each country are also recognized for individual Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals.

Inaugurated in 1992, La Cigale Tabarka Golf was designed by the Californian architect Ronald Fream.

Akram Skaik, Director General of the Emirates Golf Federation, said: “It has been an important year for the Emirates Golf Federation, and for the UAE National Golf Programme. This championship will be a celebration of not only the UAE program but the work that the Arab Nations have put into the sport of golf over the past 12 months.

“I’d like to congratulate the Tunisian Golf Federation on hosting this year’s championship, and we look forward to the future for many more successful events within the region,” he added.
