Rapper and entrepreneur Ye (formerly Kanye West) is reportedly offering a significant price cut on his Malibu mansion.
The beachfront property, designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, has seen its asking price slashed from a staggering $53 million to $39 million – a decrease of over 26%, according to Realtor.com.
The hip hop mogul had reportedly boight the mansion for $57m in 2020.
Another mansion designed by Pritzker Prize-winning starchitect Tadao Ando in the area was earlier sold to Beyoncé and Jay-Z for around $200 million.
However, there's a catch. While the location boasts stunning ocean views, the interior is a far cry from move-in ready.
The formerly four-bedroom, five-bath house is now an empty concrete shell, with its rooms open and exposed to the sea air.
Ye reportedly gutted the entire house but never completed renovations.
Potential buyers will find the place lacking essentials like doors, windows, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC systems, and any semblance of interior finishes.
