    FC Cincinnati played its second preseason match of the 2025 season Thursday, with the Orange & Blue playing to a 1-1 draw against the Houston Dynamo.Pavel Bucha connected on the lone goal of the match for FC Cincinnati on Thursday, with Houston evening the score in the 85thminute.Two FC Cincinnati stars – Luciano Acosta and Luca Orellano – have each arrived in Clearwater for preseason training, though neither player saw action on Thursday.Orellano and Acosta were both late to join their teammates in Florida for training, with Acosta arriving to begin training just last week.FC Cincinnati head coach Pat Noonan explained their absences from Thursday's match after it concluded.Noonan said Orellano is battling a hip injury and the club wanted to be cautious by keeping him off the field.As for Acosta, the 30-year-old former MVP was focusing on fitness this week after rejoining his teammates just days ago.Noonan said there was no plan for Acosta to play against the Dynamo.FC Cincinnati will have two more preseason exhibitions before the regular season begins: Feb. 7 against the Philadelphia Union and Feb. 12 against Atlanta United FC.FC Cincinnati's 2025 season opens on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Honduras as part of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
