Hyderabad’s skyline is changing quickly, with new tall buildings being added every year. The latest upcoming skyscraper will be a 70-storey building in Osman Nagar, which has received initial approval. This is another step in the city’s growth, as more high-rise buildings are being planned.
In addition to the 70-storey tower, several other tall buildings are in the works. A 63-storey building will be built in Kokapet, along with a 62-storey tower in the same area. Another 61-storey building has been approved for Nanakramguda. Last year, Hyderabad saw the construction of its tallest buildings, including a 59-storey tower in Puppalaguda, a 58-storey skyscraper in Kokapet, and a 57-storey structure nearby. Other approved projects include a 55-storey tower in Puppalaguda and a 54-storey building in Kokapet.
Some of these projects will have a single tower, while others will feature multiple towers within the same development. The expected completion dates for these skyscrapers range from 2026 to 2029.
Officials from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) department highlight that traffic studies are an important part of the approval process for these buildings. They want to make sure that Hyderabad’s infrastructure can support the increasing number of high-rises.
As the city continues to grow upwards, these new skyscrapers will further establish Hyderabad as a major hub for modern architecture and urban development in India.
