BBC Scotland's Home of the Year is back once more, offering up another three stunning properties hoping to win the prize spot in the next episode coming Monday, April 25.
Interior designers Anna Campbell Jones and Banjo Beale, along with architect Danny Campbell, travel the country in search of Scotland's best homes. In the north east and northern isles, the stunning property at Harbour View is up for the winning spot.
As just one of three properties, scoring them on architectural merit, distinctive design and personal style, which home will Anna, Banjo and Danny judge worthy enough to go forward to the grand final?
Proud homeowner Amanda Tickle, 55 lives in the stunning quirky property alongside her two cats, Peaches and Daisy.
Discussing why she decided to enter her house in the BBC competition, project manager Amanda said: "It’s all down to our friends and neighbours who encouraged us to apply! We didn’t expect to get shortlisted for SHOTY, but we were delighted to be chosen. It has been a surreal experience."
"I’m sure there will be some nervousness as the airing date approaches," she added.

Harbour View
The house site had formerly been home to the old Stockan’s Bakehouse which serviced the Scapa Flow fleets in both World Wars. It was purchased around 2010 by the original owners, who then spent approximately four years creating this award-winning home.

Every floor of Harbour View has a unique feature, from the striking architecture and bold colours inside and out. "We have a crazy pace of life with busy jobs, so we wanted to create a calm and peaceful home which maximises the natural light and flexible space, where we can just switch off and watch the world sail by," Amanda explained.
