On the occasion of Italian Design Day and as part of Italian Design Week at the NYCxDesign Festival, the Consulate General of Italy in New York and Archiproducts.com, the international network for architecture, design and construction, presented "Origins - The Heritage of Italian Design".
The event celebrated the 25th anniversary of Archiproducts.com, the largest architecture and design platform with over 80 million sessions per year and a global community of 4 million professionals and 5.5 million followers on social media. The talk organised in the premises of the Consulate General of Italy in New York was an opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness and strength of Made in Italy design in the world by recounting it through the voices of Italian entrepreneurs whose family history has contributed to building its identity, and of American architecture and interior design firms that have always chosen Italian design in their projects. Italian design is still a fundamental reference for the US market, recognised as an unrivalled combination of quality, style and craftsmanship, and the event focused on this enduring link by exploring its potential evolution.
The event was opened by Consul General Fabrizio Di Michele, Roberto Palomba, architect and designer - co-founder of the architecture firm Palomba Serafini Associati and Testimonial of Italian Design Day 2025 in Nyc - and Enzo Maiorano, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Archiproducts.
