The largest event of the year for the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science is finally this weekend. 

Family Fun Day will be held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a lineup featuring both indoor and outdoor activities (rain or shine event), visitors can meet live birds, and learn more about animals, our environment and conservation.

Get outdoors for a fun family day, with community partners hosting a variety of activities in the museum’s backyard.

Face painting by Dori of Party Business will be at the event, and food will be available from Dixie’s Down Home Cooking and Zach’s Street Grill.

Timed activities include:

  • 10:30–11 a.m.: Members’ Only Meet & Greet with Animal Behavior & Conservation Connections inside in the Ederic Exhibit Hall
  • 11 a.m.–1 p.m.: Meet & Greet throughout museum/backyard with Animal Behavior & Conservation Connections
  • 1:30 p.m.: Storytime with State Treasurer Colleen Davis

The event is free for members and is included in the admission cost for nonmembers.
