WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Tate Ornamental, Inc., in White House is expanding operations, adding dozens of new jobs.

The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Gov. Bill Lee made the announcement on Wednesday.

“Tennessee is shaped by the brands that call our state home, especially family-owned and operated companies like Tate Ornamental. I’m proud to announce this expansion that brings 50 new jobs to families across Robertson County and thank Tate Ornamental for its continued investment in our highly skilled workforce," said Gov. Lee.

The TDECD said the expansion of manufacturing operations will add 50 new jobs and a $12 million investment to Robertson County.

The company specializes in ornamental metal, architectural millwork and commercial stone and is a one-stop-shop for design, fabrication, installation and freight.

“Tate Ornamental has long been a valued part of Robertson County, and we deeply appreciate their decision to expand locally. Their growth brings real economic impact – more opportunities, more jobs and more confidence in the future of our local economy. We thank them for believing in this community and investing in its success,” said Robertson County Mayor William Vogle.

“The additional staff and investment will increase the company’s millwork production capacity by allowing for the construction of a state-of-the-art facility in close proximity to its existing metal and stone plants,” said the TDECD.

Construction is expected to begin this month and operations are targeted to start in January 2027. When the expansion is complete, Tate Ornamental will employ around 250 people.

“We feel incredibly blessed to be in a position where growth is necessary, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue that growth right here in White House,” said Ronald J. Tate, president of Tate Ornamental. “While we do work all over the country and had the option to expand elsewhere, choosing to invest again in our hometown was an easy decision. White House has been a foundation for our company for many years, and we’re proud to keep building here, creating jobs here and continuing to be part of this community’s future.”

Tate Ornamental, a family-owned and operated company, was founded in White House in 1988.
