Prairie Business announces 2025's Leaders and Legacies

Career accomplishments and highlights were considered, as well as the positive impact the business leaders have made on their organizations, communities and industries.

GRAND FORKS — Prairie Business has announced the winners of the annual Leaders & Legacies award.

Career accomplishments and highlights were considered, as well as the positive impact the business leaders have made on their organizations, communities and industries. The class of 2025 is made up of nine exceptional professionals in the region who are honored with the Leaders & Legacies award.

Prairie Business covers both the Dakotas and western Minnesota, and seeks nominations from its coverage area.

This year’s Leaders & Legacies award winners are:

  • Mike Bittner, director of strategic initiatives at Bolton & Menk
  • Michael Burns, president at Michael J. Burns Architects, Ltd.
  • Joshua Deere, president at Altru Health System
  • Brady Hansen, CEO at BeMobile
  • Dan Kadrmas, president at TrueNorth Steel
  • Joan McCusker, executive vice president of operations and corporate strategy at Blue Cross
  • Blue Shield of North Dakota.
  • Carl Peterson, president at Peterson Farms Seed
  • Peter Stenehjem , chief executive officer at First International Bank & Trust
  • Kathy Torske, president and CEO at Bravera Wealth

The nine individuals are featured in the July issue of Prairie Business, including its digital edition.
