After restorations, the portable Bulgarian Saint Stephen Church, which is made from iron, has once again opened its doors to visitors in Istanbul, Turkey.

The reopening of this church, which was built in 1898 and is still the only church that is made from iron, was held with attendance by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, according to Agos Armenian weekly of Istanbul.

To note, an Armenian by the name of Hovsep Aznavur was the architect of this Bulgarian iron church.
