Model Cara Delevingne has given fans a glimpse into her $7,000,000 Los Angeles home after it was wrecked in a fire, revealing her traumatised pets.
Firefighters were called to the scene on Friday in the early hours of the morning to tackle the blaze, believed to have started in the back room of the Studio City, California, property.
Cara is currently residing in the UK for her stint in West End show Cabaret as Sally Bowles so was not present when the fire broke out at the 8,000-square-foot mansion.
Her poor cats were at the home when the fire ripped through the mansion, leaving the home as a sooty and largely decimated shell.
After concerned messages, Cara shared pictures of her two kittens who looked incredibly worse for wear in the arms of firefighters.
The 35-year-old shared a message on her story over the shocking blaze, writing: ‘My heart is broken today… I cannot believe it.
‘Life can change in a blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.’
After making a statement over the blaze on Instagram earlier in the day, the Paper Towns actress was spotted leaving the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse theatre in London.
She also shared a video of the fire trucks and emergency service workers who had come to her aid, thanking everyone for stepping into action so quickly.
‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help,’ she added.
She reassured fans that her two cats had survived the blaze and were unharmed, although she didn’t share any further details.
A total of 94 firefighters in 13 different engines arrived to tackle the dramatic blaze which spread through to the attic, causing the roof to cave in.
A 911 call was made around 3:57am PST, according to TMZ, and it took two hours to bring the flames under control.
It is not known who has been injured but it’s reported that the person staying at Cara’s residence was treated for smoke inhalation.
Others are thought to have been injured at the scene, with one firefighter falling from a ladder in the frenzy.
The model previously owned another Hollywood home, having purchased with her sister Poppy Delevingne from actor Jared Leto.
She sold to singer Usher for $3.4million in September 2022 and splits her time between the US and UK.
Interior design enthusiasts, the pair had decorated this previous mansion with a jungle theme filled with luscious green plants and decorations, which she revealed to Architectural Digest.

The home even had secret tunnels, which she called the ‘vagina tunnel’, leading between rooms and features like a playroom and ball pit.
Speaking about what home meant to her, she told the magazine: ‘My work requires me to put on many different hats and costumes. I love slipping into these various characters, so I wanted my home to reflect lots of different themes and moods.’
